Utama Potential University (UPU) through the Film and Television Study Program (FTV) of the Faculty of Art and Design (FSD) marked a new chapter in academic and practical collaboration with the signing of the implementation agreement (IA) or work implementation agreement. This historic agreement was established with three study programs from the Surakarta Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), namely Film and Television Study Program, Industrial Product Design Study Program, and Tourism Destination Study Program under the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.
.. The event which took place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, was specifically focused on planning the implementation of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) study of public perceptions of the classification of film viewers on digital platforms in Indonesia in 2025.
The series of events opened with the signing session of the IA document conducted by representatives from the two institutions. The main potential university is represented by core leaders and lecturers, namely:

Sri Wayuni,M.Snas the head of the Film and Television Study Program Upu.
M. Ali Mursid Alfathoni,M.Snas a lecturer in the Film and Television Study Program UPU.
After the signing, the event continued with a casual discussion but full of insight to discuss the upcoming FGD topics. This discussion also invited experts from various backgrounds to provide a multidimensional perspective, including:

In his remarks, the Dean of FSD UPU, M. Rusdi Tanjung, M.Kom, M.Ds, stated, "Collaboration with ISI Surakarta is not only a formality, but is a form of our commitment to contribute directly to the Indonesian creative industry, especially in the field of film.
Meanwhile, Sri Wayuni,M.SnAs the film and Television Head of Standard, "Through the FGD to be held, we hope to explore comprehensive perceptions from various points of view. The results of this study will not only be academic material, but also strategic recommendations for digital platforms, censorship institutions, and filmmakers."
The event took place in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of collaboration to advance the world of Indonesian arts and film education. With the signing of this, it is hoped that various advanced programs and other joint research will be born between UPU and ISI Surakarta in the future.
